Translation

Translation is the transfer of written text from one language into another. Whether you have a small email of 100 words or a contract of 5,000 words, Trilingua Translations can help.

Documents are welcome in a range of subjects areas, with specialization in legal documents. Various file types may be translated, including those compatible with Across, MemoQ, SDL Trados, and Translation Workspace.

Translation services are available for Russian and Spanish documents that need to be translated into English.

Editing

Editing involves a thorough review of a document for style, grammar, spelling and punctuation as well as accuracy and faithfulness to the original text (if it's a translation). Re-writing may be involved when extensive changes are necessary.

Proofreading

Proofreading is a general check for obvious errors such as typos and misspellings.

When proofreading a translation, the English text will be reviewed as a monolingual document (i.e., the original and translation won't be compared for accuracy).

Transcription

Transcription is when spoken language is transformed into text. The resulting document (transcript) is a written record of this speech.

Transcription is available for English-language audio and video files.

Subtitling

Similar to transcription, subtitling involves presenting speech as text, but extra steps are required to produce subtitles. A transcript is further divided into shorter sentence and phrases to be displayed with a video, and timecodes are added so the text corresponds to the audio.
